The PET bottle washing and crushing production line is an automated complete set of equipment that processes waste PET bottles (such as mineral water bottles, beverage bottles, etc.) through sorting, label removal, crushing, washing, dewatering, drying, and sorting processes to produce clean PET flakes. It is the core production line for PET plastic recycling.

Core Uses and Capacity
• Core Uses: Produces high-purity PET flakes, which can be used for chemical fiber filaments, packaging materials, sheets, etc. Food-grade lines can be used for bottle-to-bottle recycling (requires FDA and other certifications).
• Common Capacity: 500–6000 kg/h, customizable according to requirements, suitable for small to large-scale recycling plants.
Core Process Flow (Key Stages)
1. Unpacking and Pre-sorting: Unpacking, manual/mechanical removal of impurities (metal, stones, non-PET bottles, etc.) to improve raw material purity.
2. Label Removal: A label removal machine separates the PET bottle body from PP/PE labels; the labels can be recycled.
3. Crushing: A crusher cuts the PET bottles into 10–20 mm flakes, with a screen controlling the size.
4. Washing and Sorting: Cold washing separates bottle caps/labels; friction washing removes oil/adhesives; hot washing (70–80℃, with alkaline solution) sterilizes and removes stubborn stains; rinsing neutralizes and removes residues; multi-stage washing ensures cleanliness.
5. Dewatering and Drying: Centrifugal dewatering + hot air drying reduces the moisture content of the flakes to ≤0.5%, meeting subsequent processing requirements.
6. Fine Sorting and Packaging: Color sorting/density sorting removes discolored flakes, PVC, etc., and finally the flakes are packaged and stored.
• Applications: PET recycling plants, chemical fiber plants, packaging material plants, resource recycling enterprises; the flakes can be used for textile fibers, food packaging (food grade), engineering plastics, etc.

Selection Considerations
• Capacity Matching: Select equipment specifications according to the expected output to avoid wasted capacity or insufficient capacity.
• Finished Product Grade: Food-grade requires more refined processes and materials; ordinary industrial grade can have a simplified configuration.
• Automation Level: Choose a semi-automatic or fully automatic line based on labor costs and management capabilities. • Energy Consumption and Environmental Protection: Prioritize equipment with low energy consumption and water/heat recycling capabilities to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.
